What Open Source License Should I Choose? - July 7th 2010
The For ColdFusion Foundation (4CFF) is a non-profit corporation, incorporated in 2009. 4CFF was formed to provide a collaborative meritocracy for the benefit of the ColdFusion community. One of the objectives of 4CFF is to "provide resources and a collaborative environment for contributors in order to improve the consistency and overall quality of ColdFusion open source projects". With that objective in mind, we have created a document with information about the various open source licenses out there, and how you may apply them to your open source project. Application for 501(c)3? - June 1st 2010
The For ColdFusion Foundation (4CFF) has applied for 501(c)3 charitable non-profit status with the IRS! If we get 501(c)3 status, your donations to 4CFF may be tax deductible. Here's hoping that Uncle Sam will agree that we are trying to create a benefit for the community.
